Because of the global nature of the business there were many times when the New Zealand operation needed to move Ingram Micro personnel, either into or out of New Zealand to take up senior management/governance or Senior Technical roles. The success of the relationship is based on Bird Immigration's professional and superior customer service and effective cost of service. The time frame in which these transfers were to happen, meant very little notice was provided to Bird Immigration yet the paperwork required to make the move happen was always lodged with the relevant Immigration Services within days of being requested.
